About Us

Epangelo is a private mining company incorporated into the Republic of Namibia under the Companies Act (Act 61 of 1972). The Government of the Republic of Namibia is the sole shareholder. The company was declared as a State owned Enterprises in 2013 under the PEGA (Act 2 of 2006). As part of the State-owned Enterprises Governance Framework for Public Enterprises, Epangelo is required to prepare a Strategic Business Plan as well as Annual Operational Plans; specifying the companies and the Ministry of Public Enterprises’ ambitions, expectations and commitments with respect to the Public Enterprise’s performance.
