Development Workshop

About Us

Development Workshop has been assisting the national government in designing policies and programs for human settlements and self-help housing in Angola since 1981. DW has worked closely with local community organizations to promote the growing Angolan civil society and the process of local government decentralization during the last few decades. DW is Angola’s oldest non-governmental organization, having worked for many years in the midst of a long-running and difficult humanitarian catastrophe. Even in emergency situations, we have always strived to strengthen local capacities and seek out long-term solutions.
