Women's NGO Secretariat of Liberia

About Us

The Women’s NGO Secretariat of Liberia (WONGOSOL) was founded in 1998 as an entity to coordinate the operations of women’s groups in Liberia. We bring women together to formulate and share their independent views on government problems that directly impact women in Liberia, and we coordinate the operations of women’s organizations in Liberia. We have approximately 104 network members spread across Liberia’s 15 political subdivisions. Our purpose is to end discrimination against women and promote women’s involvement and empowerment at all levels of society through collaboration.
