Demeter Agriculture Ltd, better known as Demeter Seed, was founded in 2004 and is a fully certified integrated seed firm that produces OPV and hybrid maize seed, as well as a variety of legumes such as groundnuts, soyabeans, cowpeas, sugar beans, and pigeon peas. The seed is grown on the Demeter farm as well as by a limited group of out-growers, ensuring that the highest industry standards are met. All seed produced is certified by the government.
