Seychelles Petroleum Company SEYPEC is a fully Seychellois run organization with a mandate to secure the country’s energy needs. It has a workforce of approximately two hundred Seychellois nationals. Over the past three decades, SEYPEC has grown to become an important strategic entity behind the country’s economy. Also, it has been steadfast in its mandate to supply the islands’ fuel in an efficient and cost-effective manner. SEYPEC’s operations are based at three depots, namely the New Port depot, Airport depot and Praslin depot. Its main functions revolve around the storage and supply of petroleum products to the domestic and international market, the bunkering of vessels, aviation refueling operations and the management of its shipping arm.
