Association Sidra

About Us

Sidra Association Algeria, founded in April 2011 in Algiers, is a recognized, apolitical, non-profit organization governed by Algerian association legislation, comprised primarily of young leaders in various fields. They’re all based on the principles of sharing, helping, and diversity. SIDRA Algeria is one of the capital’s most prominent youth organizations, having been designated by UNESCO in 2013. We currently have 70 active members with an average age of 20 years and a volunteer database of 1000. Our objective is to encourage young people to participate in active citizenship through solidarity and intercultural citizen projects.
