Since 1985, Alchem has been the major pharmaceutical distribution company in Burundi. The company is Burundi’s sole ISO-certified pharmaceutical company. In addition, as the largest pharmaceutical firm in the country, our objective is to be a global pharmaceutical company known for its pioneering research and for providing our clients with trusted, leading products. Alchem is now a multi-national company with 60 employees from various countries, supplying items from all continents and acting as the sole distributor for dozens of brands in Burundi.
